Geniusto on a Mission

Geniusto on a Mission
October 15, 2024 | By Geniusto

From the 9th-14th September, Geniusto, a member of the Singapore Fintech Association (SFA), joined a delegation of Fintechs and held key meetings across the UAE, with banks, regulators and partners.  This week, organised by the SFA in conjunction with the UAE-Singapore Business Council (UAESBC), yielded many fruitful discussions about the future of banking and collaboration between the two countries.

UAE-based Regional Head of Sales and Partnerships, Idris Gbaja-Biamila took part in the 2-city itinerary and noted, “if not for the fantastic work being done by the SFA and UAESBC, and the wonderful relationships held, it would be almost impossible have this much high-level access in a single week”.  Geniusto’s [GO] Suite was brought to the forefront for top executives across the region’s biggest banks including HSBC, FAB, ADCB, ADIB, CBD, RAKBank and Emirates NDB.

The UAE, much like Singapore, thrives on creating a conducive atmosphere for business growth and innovation.  The history of this and the ongoing vision was shared during visits to some of the major financial Freezones, Abu Dhabi’s ADGM and Dubai’s DIFC.  Discussing regional specific business, there was a panel discussion held at the offices of Mastercard. In discussion about the cutting edge of regulation, the week included a session with the world’s first independent regulatory authority exclusively focused on Virtual Assets, VARA.

Overall, the reception was immensely positive as it is clear that Singaporean Fintechs like Geniusto are held in high regard.  The exclusive networking evenings included dignitaries such as the Singaporean Ambassador to the UAE and the Consul-General.  There were also opportunities to join existing networking events within Dubai’s ecosystem, including Fintech Tuesdays.

Thanks to the SFA and UAESBC, Geniusto continues to demonstrate its world-class solution is truly the solution of the future.  If you’d like to find out more about how you can put more brains behind your banking, please contact us for more information.
