As we bid farewell to 2023, it’s with immense pride and gratitude that we reflect on the remarkable achievements that have defined Geniusto’s journey over the past year. Despite a somewhat challenging 2023, we have emerged stronger, more resilient. Here we celebrate some of some of our top achievements for the year in no particular order.
Top Achievements of 2023:
Landmark Contract: We have won a large contract with ‘Ebury Mass Payments UK’, a business unit of the banking giant ‘Gruppo Santander’.
This reaffirms Geniusto’s position as a leading provider of world class payments software. We were chosen for our flexibility and ability to deliver a very tailored solution to address the unique business model of Ebury. This win is a significant milestone for Geniusto as we were chosen over much larger established players such as FIS.
ISO 27001 and ISO 9001: Whilst we have always been proud of our internal working policies and we have always worked to these very high standards, this year we have completed and passed both of these audits in record time and we can now proudly say that we are ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 Certified. As we serve our regulated customers, we continue to be always mindful of new regulation being proposed by global banking regulators and we are ready to assist our customers to remain compliant at all times.
Global Presence: We exhibited this year at both Money 20/20 events in Amsterdam and Las Vegas, along with several other smaller fintech and banking events around the world. These important activities have boosted our brand image on the world stage and opened doors to key new partnerships and connections that will shape our future endeavors. We look forward to further expanding our reach in 2024 with participation in many more key fintech events in key markets.
Empowering institutions with RTP – ISO 20022: Geniusto has enabled a number of institutions in Europe and Asia by mastering the complexities of this new payments standard and connecting them to real time payment rails now using the ISO 20022 standard. These include Target 2, SEPA Instant, and InstaPay in Asia. rest assured, many more institutions will be connected in the coming year and we will embrace more instant payment rails in more countries.
Asian Development Bank Business Opportunities Fair: Invited by ‘Austrade’, Geniusto joined the Australian mission to ADB 2023 in Manila, further expanding our global footprint. This was a gathering of industry experts and policy makers, from over 200 countries to discuss and learn how the Asian Development bank can play a major roll in infrastructure development; this includes economic infrastructure with a goal to continue its economic inclusion programs around Asia and the Pacific. ADB will lend north of 30 Billion US Dollars in 2024 to Asian projects.

As we look ahead to 2024, We remain bullish and ready to build on top of the excellent foundations that have been laid over the past two exciting years. The banking and payments industry continues to undergo tremendous disruption around the world and the annual volumes of global payments continues to soar.
Whilst some sectors may see a slow down, we are confident that the banking and payments sector will remain robust for several more years and Geniusto is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the growth opportunities.
